**Eat & Support Local Businesses in Franklin County during COVID-19 Pandemic**

The COVID-19 pandemic is generating uncertainty and challenges throughout the nation.  Gov. Roy Cooper has issued an executive order, which took effect at 5 p.m. on March 17, 2020, closing all bars and restaurant dining rooms in North Carolina except for takeout and delivery orders.

This decision will have a severe impact on restaurant and bar owners in our Chamber family.  We encourage you to support those Chamber members during this crisis by continuing to patronize their businesses.  You can do so by calling in take-out orders, having meals catered to your house or your business, and using these businesses for special orders.

We also ask that you please inform your friends, family, and neighbors that, although restricted to take-out, drive through, or delivery, these businesses are still open. A listing of your Greater Franklin County Chamber of Commerce partners affected by the Governor’s executive order is provided below.
