GET YOUR COMPANY NAME IN FRONT OF FRANKLIN COUNTY’S NEW TEACHERS FOR 2017 BY DONATING ITEMS THAT WILL HELP THEM IN THEIR NEW CLASSROOMS.
The Greater Franklin County Chamber of Commerce & the Franklin County Education Foundation will host this year’s New Teachers’ Luncheon for educators coming into the Franklin County School system.
Each year these teachers receive “gift bags” with items donated by area businesses and individuals. Items that have been donated in the past are pencils, pens, note pads, paper, construction paper, file folders, markers and notebooks. This year approximately 125 new teachers will be starting their careers in Franklin County. If you would like to donate, we will need 125 of each item donated, so each of the new teachers will have identical gift bags. You can bring your donated school supplies by the Chamber office at 112 East Nash Street in Louisburg, or we will be happy to pick them up.
Please have your items in the Chamber office by the deadline, Thursday, August 1st, so that we can have the gift bags filled in time for the luncheon.
